"My Father Ravi Shankar Was Never Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma's Guru": Anoushka

Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma, a sitarist and music producer from the Rikhi Ram lineage of instrument makers, has a separate fan base among music lovers. From being the first sitarist to perform solo at the White House to advocating music as a therapeutic tool for emotional well-being, the musician carries forward a culturally rich classical tradition. He has, however, often called himself the last and youngest disciple of Pandit Ravi Shankar – a claim recently opposed by the legendary musician's daughter, Anoushka Shankar. Rishabh Rikhiram Sharma has often revealed in past interviews how a conversation with Pandit Ravi Shankar marked a turning point in his musical journey. PS 2 Trailer: Aishwarya AKA Nandini Is Back To Seek Revenge From Cholas

Finally, the much-awaited trailer of magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan 2 was released on Wednesday. The 3-minute-long trailer, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Trisha Krishnan, offers a sneak peek into the sequel with some breathtaking visuals and action sequence. The trailer starts with the news of Arunmozhi Varman aka Ponniyin Selvan's (played by Jayam Ravi) death. In the next frame, we can see some power-packed action sequences led by Aditha Karikalan (played by Vikram), who has been offered to rule the other half of the Chola Kingdom. 

However, it seems Arunmozhi Varman aka Ponniyin Selvan is alive as Kundavai (played by Trisha) questions him about who saved his life, to which he answers, "Nandini". Next, we see Nandini planning to avenge the death of her father as she can be heard saying, "We will destroy the Cholas." Towards the end of the trailer, Nandini, who plays the love interest of Aditha Karikalan, comes face to face him.

Helmed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan 2 also stars Karthi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram and others in pivotal roles. At the trailer launch event, Kamal Haasan arrived as a chief guest. 

Ponniyin Selvan 2 is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel of the same name. The first part of the film narrates the early life of Chola prince Arunmozhi Varman. Ponniyin Selvan: I garnered immense praise from the audience and critics. Also, it was a great hit at the box office. 

Ponniyin Selvan 2 will hit the theatres on April 28.

US Reopens Lake Michigan Airspace After Closure Over "National Defense"

US officials restricted the airspace over Lake Michigan on Sunday citing a potential new threat to national security but soon reopened the skies, as the United States and Canada respond to multiple air intrusions. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced "temporary flight restrictions" over one of the Great Lakes along the US-Canada border, designating it as "national defense airspace," one day after a similar closure over Montana led to the scrambling of US fighter jets. The Montana closure was ordered over a "radar anomaly," but no object was discovered. Similarly, the Lake Michigan restrictions were lifted shortly after they were announced, apparently with no threat detected.
