Mumbai To Finally Get Proper Monsoon Rains From June 22? Check IMD Forecast

After days of hot and humid weather, Mumbai is likely to see a significant change in conditions from Monday (June 22) onwards, with rainfall activity expected to increase across the city. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai is expected to experience hot and humid conditions along with the possibility of light rain or thundershowers till June 20. However, weather conditions are forecast to become more active from June 21, with light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms likely in several areas. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, warning of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 kmph at isolated places on June 22 and June 23. Mumbai and Konkan region are likely to witness a noticeable shift in weather patterns over the next 48 hours. South Korea's Spy Agency Says North Korea's Kim Jong Un May Have Insomnia

North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un may be suffering from a sleep disorder and a potentially worsening alcohol and nicotine dependency, South Korea's spy agency said on Wednesday, as per Bloomberg .  Citing the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the outlet reported that the North Korean authorities are "intensely" collecting overseas medical information for top-ranking officials with insomnia, including details on medications used to treat it, like Zolpidem.  Yoo Sang-bum, a lawmaker for South Korea's ruling People Power Party and executive secretary of the parliamentary intelligence committee, shared details of the NIS briefing with reporters. Morgan Stanley's report on how India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed and gained a position in the world order in less than a decade is the "best and sharpest indictment" of the Congress-led UPA's "lost decade between 2004 and 2014", Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said on Wednesday. British Man, 26, Dies From Lightning Strike While Paddleboarding In Greece

A 26-year-old British tourist died after he was reportedly hit by lightning while paddleboarding in Greece, as per Guardian.   The unnamed man was in the sea during a thunderstorm in Agia Agathi, Rhodes, as his girlfriend filmed him from the beach, according to local media. Greek newspaper  Rodiaki  reported that lightning struck the water near the man shortly before 1.30 pm local time on Tuesday, causing him to fall into the water injured. Soon after the incident, emergency services dashed to the scene, and the man was taken to the shore. Rescuers frantically tried to save his life, following which medics took him to a local hospital before he was declared dead. Though the Port Authority of Rhodes confirmed the man's age and that he was a British national, they gave no further information.
