Tiger Woods Involved In Car Crash In Florida: Report

Golf superstar Tiger Woods was involved in a car crash in Florida on Friday, US media reports citing local law enforcement said. There was no immediate word on Woods' condition following the incident in Jupiter Island, ABC television reported. The Martin County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A press conference has been scheduled at 5pm local time (2100 GMT). NBC local news affiliate WPTV showed a picture of the crash scene showing a sports utility vehicle flipped onto its side. News of the incident comes five years after Woods was involved in a serious rollover car crash in California that left him with severe right leg injuries.  The 15-time major winner needed pins inserted in his foot and ankle and a rod in his tibia as well as a follow-up surgery in 2023. Delhi Services Bill, Manipur May Raise Storm In House Again: 10 Points

  1. The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill has become a rallying point for a united opposition against the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
  2. The draft bill to replace the ordinance for creating an authority for transfers and postings of senior officers in the Delhi government has been circulated among the MPs.
  3. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is a part of the opposition coalition INDIA, has reacted strongly against the bill. The Congress and other opposition parties have also come out against the bill.
  4. Parliament proceedings have been affected by the opposition's demand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak on the Manipur ethnic conflict in parliament.
  5. Home Minister Amit Shah has clearly said he was ready to respond to a discussion in parliament on the Manipur matter.
  6. But the opposition turned down Mr Shah's offer, and moved a no-confidence motion against the government as a last bid to make PM Modi speak on the Manipur violence in parliament.
  7. The opposition is upset over the government's approach of going ahead with its legislative agenda at a time when the Lok Sabha Speaker has admitted the no-confidence motion.
  8. The government has listed 13 draft legislations for consideration and passing in Lok Sabha even as the notice for moving the no-confidence motion is pending before the house.
  9. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi dared the opposition to defeat the government bills in the house if they believe they have the numbers in Lok Sabha. "They have suddenly brought the no-confidence motion. Does that mean no government business should take place? If they have the numbers, they should defeat the bills on the floor of the house," the minister said on Friday.
  10. Members of the newly formed opposition grouping INDIA, who went to violence-hit Manipur in the past two days, are likely to bring more ammo to attack the Modi government when the house opens today.

US Reopens Lake Michigan Airspace After Closure Over "National Defense"

US officials restricted the airspace over Lake Michigan on Sunday citing a potential new threat to national security but soon reopened the skies, as the United States and Canada respond to multiple air intrusions. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced "temporary flight restrictions" over one of the Great Lakes along the US-Canada border, designating it as "national defense airspace," one day after a similar closure over Montana led to the scrambling of US fighter jets.
