Diljit Dosanjh's Satluj, which had been fighting a prolonged battle over censor approval, was pulled from streaming giant ZEE5 two days after its release in India. Diljit shared his first reaction on Sunday night, hours after the streamer issued a statement about its decision. Early Monday, Diljit hosted an Instagram Live thanking fans for their constant support. He reiterated one point throughout the live session: once something is online, it can't be erased. Diljit asked fans who have watched and downloaded the film to show it to others who haven't seen it yet. "I came live on Instagram to thank people for watching Satluj. "What I had feared actually happened. I thought the film would be taken down by Monday, but it happened sooner than expected. That's why we didn't promote the film. Delhi Services Bill, Manipur May Raise Storm In House Again: 10 Points

  1. The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill has become a rallying point for a united opposition against the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
  2. The draft bill to replace the ordinance for creating an authority for transfers and postings of senior officers in the Delhi government has been circulated among the MPs.
  3. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which is a part of the opposition coalition INDIA, has reacted strongly against the bill. The Congress and other opposition parties have also come out against the bill.
  4. Parliament proceedings have been affected by the opposition's demand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi to speak on the Manipur ethnic conflict in parliament.
  5. Home Minister Amit Shah has clearly said he was ready to respond to a discussion in parliament on the Manipur matter.
  6. But the opposition turned down Mr Shah's offer, and moved a no-confidence motion against the government as a last bid to make PM Modi speak on the Manipur violence in parliament.
  7. The opposition is upset over the government's approach of going ahead with its legislative agenda at a time when the Lok Sabha Speaker has admitted the no-confidence motion.
  8. The government has listed 13 draft legislations for consideration and passing in Lok Sabha even as the notice for moving the no-confidence motion is pending before the house.
  9. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi dared the opposition to defeat the government bills in the house if they believe they have the numbers in Lok Sabha. "They have suddenly brought the no-confidence motion. Does that mean no government business should take place? If they have the numbers, they should defeat the bills on the floor of the house," the minister said on Friday.
  10. Members of the newly formed opposition grouping INDIA, who went to violence-hit Manipur in the past two days, are likely to bring more ammo to attack the Modi government when the house opens today.

BJP leader Varun Gandhi on Saturday filed a defamation case in a local court here against a Varanasi man for allegedly making derogatory remarks on his father on Twitter. The Pilibhit MP on Saturday came to the court premises with three advocates around 3 pm and filed a defamation case before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (II) Abhinav Tiwari. Hollywood's actors announced Thursday they will go on strike, joining writers in the first industry-wide shutdown in 63 years after last-ditch talks failed, with nearly all film and television production set to grind to a halt.
