Hardik Scripts Historic First After Joining Arshdeep, Bumrah In Elite List

India all-rounder  Hardik Pandya  on Sunday achieved a historic first in international cricket during the ongoing third T20I against South Africa at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. The 31-year-old is now the first pace-bowling all-rounder to complete the double of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets in T20I Internationals. Hardik dismissed Tristan Stubbs in the seventh over of South Africa's innings to achieve the feat. By doing so, he also became the third Indian to take 100 or more wickets in the format, joining Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah in the elite list. Arshdeep Singh has taken 107 wickets in 70 T20I matches at an economy of 8.35, with best figures of 4 for 9, while Jasprit Bumrah has picked up 101 wickets from 82 matches, maintaining an impressive economy rate of 6.35, with best figures of 3 for 7. India Must Take "Canada's Allegations Seriously": Trudeau After US Case

U.S. allegations that an Indian government official directed an unsuccessful plot to assassinate a Khalistani terrorist on U.S. soil underscores the need for India to take similar allegations by Canada seriously, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Wednesday.

The U.S. Justice Department said earlier on Wednesday that a 52-year-old man worked with an Indian government employee, whose responsibilities included security and intelligence, on the plot to assassinate a New York City resident who advocated for a Sikh sovereign state in northern India.

"The news coming out of the United States further underscores what we've been talking about from the very beginning, which is that India needs to take this seriously," Trudeau told reporters in Ottawa.

The U.S. charges come about two months after Canada said there were "credible" allegations linking Indian agents to the murder of a Khalistani terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, in a Vancouver suburb, in June. India has rejected that allegation.

US Reopens Lake Michigan Airspace After Closure Over "National Defense"

US officials restricted the airspace over Lake Michigan on Sunday citing a potential new threat to national security but soon reopened the skies, as the United States and Canada respond to multiple air intrusions.
