Video: Workers Of BJP, Sharad Pawar's NCP Clash In Maharashtra Assembly Lobby

A violent clash broke out between the supporters of BJP MLA Gopichand Padalkar and NCP (Sharad Pawar group) MLA Jitendra Awhad in the lobby of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly today. Shocking videos of the two groups pummeling each other and having to be dragged back by security personel are now doing the rounds of social media.  The altercation had started with a verbal spat outside the assembly building yesterday, during which both MLAs and their supporters had exchanged expletives.  A few days ago, Mr Awhad was caught on camera walking on the red carpet in the Vidhan Bhavan premises, saying "Mangalsutra thief".  The jibe was widely seen as directed at Padalkar, although no one was named. The video was widely circulated, sparking a debate between supporters of the two leaders. Newlyweds Sonakshi And Zaheer Pose For The Paparazzi At The Reception

Sonakshi Sinha married Zaheer Iqbal in a private ceremony at her Bandra apartment in Mumbai on Sunday. After the civil wedding, the newlyweds hosted a grand reception at Bastian, Dadar. The newlyweds were dressed in their traditional best for the party. Sonakshi Sinha looked gorgeous as she chose a gorgeous red saree for the party. She accentuated her bridal look with sindoor and red choora. Zaheer Iqbal wore a white kurta set. The newlyweds arrived at the party venue walking hand-in-hand. They happily posed for the cameras. Sharing the wedding pictures, Sonakshi Sinha wrote a note. It read, "On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs... leading up to this moment... where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods... we are now man and wife. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal registered their marriage under the provisions of Special Marriage Act. The civil marriage took place at the bride's new apartment, 81 Aureate, which is located near the Rang Sharda Auditorium at Bandra West, Mumbai, reported IANS. After the wedding, Sonakshi's father Shatrughan Sinha told media, "Every father waits for this moment when his daughter is given to her chosen groom. My daughter looks most happy with Zaheer. Unki jodi salamat rahe (May their union stay strong forever)." He was accompanied by wife Poonam at the wedding.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are co-stars of the 2022 film Double XL. They have been reportedly in a relationship for more than 7 years.

US Reopens Lake Michigan Airspace After Closure Over "National Defense"

US officials restricted the airspace over Lake Michigan on Sunday citing a potential new threat to national security but soon reopened the skies, as the United States and Canada respond to multiple air intrusions. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced "temporary flight restrictions" over one of the Great Lakes along the US-Canada border, designating it as "national defense airspace," one day after a similar closure over Montana led to the scrambling of US fighter jets. The Montana closure was ordered over a "radar anomaly," but no object was discovered.
