"Ask for Forgiveness": Rio Explodes At Jorge Over Ronaldo Treatment

Former England and Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand launched a scathing attack on Portugal boss Jorge Jesus, accusing him of mistreating legendary striker Cristiano Ronaldo and saying that he must "ask for forgiveness". The Al Nassr star left the national team camp early after a breakdown in communication during the UEFA Nations League, with the 41-year-old's role under Jorge, who was also part of Al Nassr's trophy-winning set-up with Cristiano, coming under question. Tensions reached their peak when Portugal played Norway. Ahead of the match, Cristiano was instructed to warm up with the expectation of featuring later in the contest. However, Jorge eventually decided against bringing him on, leaving the legendary striker frustrated on the bench. While Jorge claimed that Cristiano was left out for tactical reasons, it only added to the growing rift between the once-close coach-player pair. Ferdinand, Cristiano's teammate at Manchester United from 2003...

Punjab Property Dealer, Wife, 15-Year-Old Son Found Dead Inside Fortuner

A somber scene unfolded in the fields near a village in Punjab's Patiala district when three members of a family were found dead inside a Toyota Fortuner SUV under mysterious circumstances.

Police officer Manjit Singh said while it appeared to be a suicide case, all angles are being investigated.

The car was found parked on a deserted village road along the National Highway in Tepla Banur.

The bodies have been identified as Sandeep Singh Rajpal, 45, a property dealer from Mohali; his wife Mandeep Kaur, 42, and their son Abhay Singh, 15.

The bodies have gunshot wounds, and blood had splattered on the plastics inside the cabin. The property dealer's body was found in the driver's seat, his wife in the front passenger seat, and their son in the backseat.

Farm workers saw the vehicle and on sensing something off, they called the police. Police officers Rajpura Manjit Singh, Arshdeep Sharma, Hardev Singh, Jaswinder Pal, and forensic teams came to the spot.

The police said a handgun was recovered from the SUV. The bodies have been sent to a hospital for post-mortem, scheduled for Monday. The police said they have contacted the relatives of the family and they would be arriving from Mohali soon.

Preliminary investigation indicated Sandeep Singh may have shot his wife and son before taking his own life. The police noted the son had been struggling with mental health challenges.

Sandeep Singh, originally from Sikhwala village in Bathinda, has been living in Mohali for the last eight years. His brother lives in their Bathinda village, while his sister lives abroad, the police said.

Harvard Astrophysicist Says He Found Alien Tech From A Meteor: Report

A Harvard University astrophysicist claims to have made a significant advancement in the quest for extraterrestrial life. Professor Avi Loeb thinks he may have discovered pieces of alien technology from a meteor that crashed in 2014 off the coast of Papua New Guinea. According to CBS News , Loeb and his team just brought the materials back to Harvard for analysis. The U.S. Space Command can confirm with almost near certainty, 99.999%, that it came from another solar system. The government gave Loeb a 10-kilometre (6.2-mile) radius of where it may have landed. "That is where the fireball took place, and the government detected it from the Department of Defence. It's a very big area, the size of Boston, so we wanted to pin it down," said Loeb. "We figured the distance of the fireball based on the time delay between the arrival of the blast wave, the boom of the explosion, and the light that arrived quickly." According to USA Today, the fragments the team uncov...
