Bellingham Argues With Messi, Then Almost Comes To Blows With Argentina Star

Lionel Messi and Jude Bellingham were the two central characters in the England vs Argentina FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-final clash. Much of their teams' chances depended on the duo. It was no surprise when the two had a brief argument over a contentious decision by the referee. Shortly after the match started, Leandro Paredes went in late on Jude Bellingham , and Enzo Fernandez did likewise to Elliot Anderson soon after. The England camp felt it warranted a card, but the referee disagreed. It was at this point that Messi argued with Bellingham. Argentina ultimately won the match 2-1 and entered the final. Watch: Masked Men Break Into California Jewellery Shop, Steal Valuables

A shocking robbery was reported at a California jewellery store, where around 25 masked men entered the shop and made off with over $1 million worth of gems and gold, the New York Post reported. The incident happened at Heller Jewelers in San Ramon on Monday, and the heist was caught on surveillance footage, which shows the thieves armed with hammers, bags and guns, smashing through glass casings to grab valuable items.

As per the report, the suspects shot their way out after getting locked inside the store. While speaking to ABC 7 News, Lt Mike Pistello from the San Ramon Police Department said, "When they went in, they basically took over the store. Basically, taking whatever jewellery was available." 

"What ended up happening was, once the suspects went in, the door locked behind them," Pistello said, referring to a security upgrade since a previous robbery in 2023. 

The police said that no one was injured.

At least six cars were waiting in the parking lot for their escape, with drone footage capturing the criminals fleeing.

Police have seven suspects in custody, including a minor, and have impounded the getaway vehicles.

Heller Jewelers released a statement on social media, expressing gratitude for "an outpouring of kindness" after the robbery. The post mentioned that the shop will reopen on Saturday.

BJP leader Varun Gandhi on Saturday filed a defamation case in a local court here against a Varanasi man for allegedly making derogatory remarks on his father on Twitter. Hollywood Shuts Down As Actors Go On Strike

Hollywood's actors announced Thursday they will go on strike, joining writers in the first industry-wide shutdown in 63 years after last-ditch talks failed, with nearly all film and television production set to grind to a halt. The Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), which represents 160,000 performers including A-list stars, said negotiations had ended without a deal on their demands over dwindling pay and the threat posed by artificial intelligence.
