Yastika's Historic Ton, Bowlers Put India On Cusp Of Lord's Test Win vs Eng

Wicketkeeper-batter Yastika Bhatia became the first woman to score a Test century at Lord's before India's bowlers tightened their grip on the historic one-off Women's Test against England on Sunday. Resuming the penultimate day with an overall lead of 269, India declared their second innings at 341/7 at the stroke of tea, setting England an improbable target of 457 in four sessions. In reply, England slumped to 130/6 at stumps with Amy Jones unbeaten on 52, leaving India just four wickets away from a memorable victory in the first-ever women's Test at Lord's. Sayali Satghare and Kranti Gaud claimed two wickets apiece to put the visitors in complete control. The couple is set to tie the knot at ITC Mementos Udaipur, a luxury retreat located approximately 25 kilometres outside Udaipur. Spread across a hilltop estate, the property features 117 private villas and is uniquely surrounded by both a river and a lake. With its private helipad and expansive grounds, it offers the privacy and exclusivity suited to a tightly curated celebration.

Pre-wedding and wedding festivities are scheduled from February 24 to 26. The guest list is understood to include around 100 invitees.

Hollywood's actors announced Thursday they will go on strike, joining writers in the first industry-wide shutdown in 63 years after last-ditch talks failed, with nearly all film and television production set to grind to a halt.
