A 57-year-old Sikh man of Indian origin was kidnapped and murdered in California in a horrific case of mistaken identity on Tuesday. A 65-year-old tourist from Bhopal died after a rented Mahindra Thar SUV collided with the rear of the family's hatchback at the Happy Bar junction in North Goa's Assagao. The incident occurred on Monday, police said. Bhagatram Sharma, who was travelling in a Hyundai i20 with family members, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
